Cocktail Sauce
This sauce is compliment to poached ice cold shrimp, or other raw bar offerings, such as clams on the half shell.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons horseradish
- 2 teaspoons lemons juice
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 3 shakes Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
To make the cocktail sauce
- Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Taste to adjust seasoning to your preference.
Notes
This recipe is highly adjustable. You can alter the amount of almost every ingredient - until it is the way you like it. I believe you cannot overdue the horseradish. The sauce should be served chilled.
