Poached Eggs on Toast
A classic breakfast item that everyone should know how to make, and eat! Assuming you like eggs!
Equipment
- Saucepan
- toaster
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs Large grade
- 1 White bread Toasted
Instructions
- Bring the water to a simmer.
- Crack the eggs into the simmering water
- Set a timer for 3 minutes
- Set bread into the toaster and toast
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the eggs from the water, blot excess water with a paper towel or clean dish towel, and then place them on the toasted bread.
- Salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
