A late fall dusting of snow provided an early morning photo opportunity for our sleeping garden. The Holly trees are gloriously full of red berries. These will be a feast for the birds in January who thoughtfully leave the berries on the trees through December, providing iconic Christmas visuals. Holly and red berries? Does it get any more classic? And, of course, my obsession with Moss is on full display in these photos. Birdbaths have been cleaned and turned over, and the stone and metal dogs are standing watch.
